Tour Plan

Day 1: Kolkata to Sundarban Godkhali

• Start your journey from Kolkata at 8:00 am by an air-conditioned car and drive to Sundarban Godkhali, the gateway to the Sundarban forest.
• Arrive at Godkhali by 11:30 am and take a boat to Gosaba island, the biggest market for the surrounding villages.
• Check in to a 5-star resort with a swimming pool and free WiFi.
• Enjoy a delicious lunch with a full buffet system of veg and non-veg food.
• In the afternoon, take a walk through the scenic paddy fields and the village of honey collectors and fishermen. Interact with the locals and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
• In the evening, visit the Sundarban Bird Jungle and enjoy watching various birds such as kingfishers, egrets, brahmani eagles, pond herons, cormorants and more. Also, witness the stunning sunset over the river.
• Return to the resort and enjoy a Jhumor dance performance by the local musicians with their age-old musical instruments. You can also try your hands on these instruments.

Day 2: Sundarban Jungle Excursion

• In the afternoon, visit another watch tower: Here you can see the ruins of a 400-year-old temple and some more wildlife.

Day 3: Sundarban to Kolkata

• Wake up early and have breakfast.
• Check out from the resort and board a boat to Godkhali.
• Travel back to Kolkata by an air-conditioned car.
